Chiquita is a true cross-cultural story that intertwines the rugged spirit of Texas with the rich traditions of India. Made entirely in Texas, this film reflects the state’s cultural values and emotions deeply embedded in its narrative. While cross-cultural movies might be a niche genre today, we believe they are poised to become the next big thing in cinema as the world grows more interconnected. Many of you are craving more than just templates and tropes, and authentic cross-cultural films like CHIQUITA aim to meet that demand.

This film follows Charles, a 60-year-old biker who, on a fateful night, crashes into a valley and encounters a mysterious little girl. What unfolds that night sets Charles on an unexpected path, changing his perspective on life forever.

The film takes you through various phases of Charles’s life, where you get to see him as a wild mustang on the open range and later as a content, happy, and lovable man. The interesting young neighbor, Freyja, brings out the entire story of Charles for us with her intriguing questions. The story also delves into the depth of Charles’ relationships with his family. Interactions with his wife, daughter, and especially his 8-year-old granddaughter highlight their significance at various stages of his life
